Mission trips are an amazing way to leave your comfort zone and become so much stronger in your faith as you depend on the Lord for so much! They give you many opportunities to share your strengths and talents, learn new ones, taste new foods, see many new sights, and deal with very few amenities as you experience a whole new culture. They teach you to be flexible and serve as a team member. They rock your world: you will come home changed from the inside out!
The summer trips hosted through Truth Unleashed Ministries have helped plant new churches. This includes sharing at youth camps, teaching VBS activities, evangelizing the village, and a free medical outreach. Trips each spring have been attending graduation at the Hope Agri Farm School and visiting the churches to share encouragement!
As there is much building to be done, future trips will be construction oriented. As more people train to drill and repair wells (link to Living Water International), teams can also bring water to villages that have had none, while sharing the Living Water!
